Do you look for places and times to just unwind from the
day? Is there a space that you can sink
into and have the struggles of the world disappear? If you don't have that yet, come join me on
the Riverwalk at Solomons.
If nothing else, you are nearly guaranteed to find some dogs
being walked, and nine times out of ten
they are friendly and the owners don't mind to stop for a minute and let you
play and pet the hound.
You may see a flock of geese fly low over your head on their approach to the nearby farm. Cyclist are pretty common too. Some are more entertaining than others.
In today's post, you can meet Karen and Petey. Petey is just a few months old and full of
energy. This little Boston Terrier is not
the often seen black and white, but a wonderful chocolate and white. I think Karen called him a brindle.

| This was the 'starting position' for the game |
The playmate is named Jasper who is just a year old and
likewise has plenty of energy. Jasper
was being walked by another lady, but I didn't get a great photo, so it's just
Jasper this time around. Oh, and let me
offer, that if you happen to see me wandering, stop and ask for a photo if
you'd like. I won't promise the perfect shot, but let's give it a try.

| Jasper seems to be saying "really?" |
Jasper dives in, and checks things out, like dogs do.. never understood that... anyway.

The gulls were flying over the creek near the Catholic
church, and it was noticeable because they seemed erratic. After getting closer, it really looked like
they were catching bugs out of the air.
What else might you see?
Friends - known and familiar and
new. People are friendly when walking
around Solomons.
You might see a guy looking for a spot to fish.
Then these young ladies came walking down with the little Rottie pup. He was great, and wanted to carry his leash in his mouth.
We got talking, and I asked if I could take their pictures. They definitely were fabulous fun and 'struck a pose.'

This isn't rare in Solomons. It's a great place to unwind, so check it out.
I leave you with two additional pictures. If you want to see the ending checkout my other blog:
Blessings,
Brian
