Your Average Sunday on Solomons

You know I seldom grow tired of wandering Solomons Island.  Last Sunday was no exception.  The scenery never disappoints and there is a nearly endless supply of beauty - if you just slow down enough to notice it.

Here are but a few of the finds below.  Looking through these now, it seems I've gotten a little stuck on the floral displays, but not entirely:

Okay, so this first one caught my attention because of the disparity.  If you have orange petals, and a black center, go ahead, be yourself!  Stand out and proud among the ordinary daisy! It's okay if you're a bit aged, you have wisdom  and experience to share!  Go boldly into the night!  :)

What's SUP!  or down?  Regardless, it was a beautiful day for a paddle on the Patuxent!

Things are looking UP, well I was looking up anyway!  This is looking up the center of the Gazebo on the River Walk.

Sometimes you really might be loosing your .. chicks......

This felt like there was a very protective gardener, and his prize possession was just beyond the touch of the public.
