Night Time

There are plenty of restaurants on Solomons and you'll want to arrive with plenty of time to find parking - which is in short supply. Thursday thru Saturday evenings are pretty crowded, but with a little patience and a bit of walking you'll find a spot.

Deb and I went over last night.  Like many Friday evenings there are local bands playing.  Lotus had a trio playing and we stopped there for dinner.  I need some practice with my night photography, but here are a few:

 The Lotus has several tables outside, under some trees and makes for a great spot to have a bite to eat on a hot summer afternoon or evening.

  The two "clock" photos are similar (duh), but made differently.  The top one is just a regular shot.  The bottom one is a composite image (HDR) in Photoshop...  and I'm not sure which one I like better..


























As we walked back to our car, which was parked behind the Our Lady Star of the Sea, Catholic Church, I thought the boat in front of the church captured a piece of atmosphere of Solomons Island.
